The Groom
Oliver first moved to LA in 1996 to get his PhD in applied mathematics at USC. Since then, he has lived in Seattle, New Zealand and Boston, his hometown. He moved back to LA in February, 2008, to start a new job and be with Meredith, whom he had met at a mutual friend's birthday party in October, 2006.
Oliver is a statistician, and enjoys hiking, camping, kayaking and playing kickball. He also claims to enjoy Meredith's vegetarian cooking, though can't help but order a hefty plate of meat when he dines out.
