The Cake!
Cake is important. We know exactly who we want to make our cake: Sugar Jones Bakery in Los Angeles. We love the simple style and fall theme of this cake. We are also considering just doing mini wedding cakes, either per table or per person, and just having a 6 inch round cake for the cutting ceremony.
Centerpieces
These are some of the original inspiration pics for centerpieces. These and a trip to Michael's last fall, where I thought the fall table toppers would make really nice centerpieces for our "rustic elegance" fall wedding.

We have 4 different centerpieces for 10-12 tables. They'll be surrounded by white candles, provided by our venue. The chocolate table runners were purchased from another knottie who was married last fall. The venue tables will be round with ivory table cloths and ivory napkins.

These were also purchased from another knottie. The hurricane vases were $4 at Cost Plus World Market. I'm going to fill the vases with either colored stones or marbles. The orange, pumpkin-scented candles pictured in the mockups above will also be set outside on the patio for cocktail hour.

First CourseSpiced butternut squash soup with roasted pumpkin seeds, creme fraiche and pumpkin oil

Salad of bufalo mozzarella, heirloom tomatoes, basil and balsamic vinaigrette
Main Course
Choice of:
Creamy wild mushroom risotto with parmesan cheese and seasonal vegetables
Polenta, goat cheese and roasted vegetable stack with sundried tomato cream sauce
