Ceremony location
Our ceremony is taking place... in a cemetery. Well. in a chapel, which happens to be in a cemetery. It's pretty, it's cheap, and it's almost literally across the street from our reception venue. We tried to get another chapel they have which is a replica of the Old North Church, since Oliver is from Boston, but for now we're booked in the Church of the Hills, which is a replica of a nineteenth century New England church.
Reception location
For the reception, we're inviting about 75 people to the Toluca Lake Tennis Club. It's a small country club near Universal Studios. (The out of town guests will be staying in a hotel close to the theme park - but not too close. Gotta get some beauty rest!) We love this venue! We get the whole thing to ourselves. There's a wood paneled bar in a separate room, a dining room with wood beamed ceilings and lots of glass french doors, and a canopied patio for cocktail hour. The chef is also designing a menu for us with four passed appetizers for cocktail hour, plus a three course dinner. We will have beer, wine and well drinks available.
